The University Wi-Fi network (known as eduroam) is available campus wide. The eduroam wireless network has the added benefit of enabling members of participating UK Higher Education Institutions to authenticate at other institutions in order to gain access to services.
This facility offered to visiting staff and students will vary from institution to institution but will include at least access to the World Wide Web.
Visitors will usually be able to access eduroam facilities via a wireless connection using their own wireless devices. Some sites may also have the facility for users to access this service from a wired connection, this is not available at Teesside.
