Accessing University Systems from Non-University devices, (third party devices) needs to be undertaken with great care. You need to be sure that the computer you're using is up to date, and running antivirus software. Ideally, you should only access Teesside University systems from trustworthy, reputable locations.
If the computer has keylogging malware software installed, it could steal your usernames and passwords. This could lead to your Teesside University details being compromised, and any resultant dataloss would be logged against YOUR account!
Depending on how the computers are setup, you could leave temporary files behind. If you are working on a word document from Teesside, it could leave a temp file behind - this data can be recovered! If you're not sure about a computer - don't use it!
