How can I book a screening appointment or participate in research?

If you would like to attend a face blindness screening appointment and/or participate in our research, you will need to first complete our online pre-screening questionnaire, which can be found at the link at the bottom of this page. Once you have completed the questionnaire, the researchers will review your results and contact you to let you know whether you meet the criteria for a full face blindess screening.

Please note that at present we are only able to offer screenings to individuals with suspected developmental prosopagnosia. If your face recognition problems have developed as a result of neurological injury or illness, or you have another health condition which may have contributed to your difficulty with faces (autism spectrum disorder, Williams syndrome, schizophrenia) then unfortunately we are unable to offer you a screening at this time. If you have any questions about the screening process or your eligibility to take part in our research please contact Dr Natalie Butcher (N.Butcher@tees.ac.uk).
